Wednesday Writing Prompts

Wonhundred Word Wednesdays have been helping me keep my writing muscles working. I've been doing edits for so long, if I didn't have these, I think my mind would get really bored. So many of the prompts just beg to be developed into longer stories.

It will be fun to come back to them some day and see where I can take them.

Here's today's prompt:

It was just for one night:

It was just for one night. A million dollars and a newly built mansion would be the prize to the one who could stay the longest in the haunted mansion. I’d lived in worse conditions. Endured more fear and terror than anyone alive. I could handle it.

At least I thought I could.

I placed my sleeping bag on the hard floor in the corner and settled down to sleep.  Most of the other contestants were gone within moments. One stayed for over two hours before finally fleeing.
None of it scared me.

Until my murdered sister spoke my name.

Please check out the other ones.
